Who’s come to visit
Here is Richard and Jeanine Ross the former owners on the day we inked the deal.
They have a new and bigger boat now called “Almost Perfect.”
The very first visitor happened quite by chance. This is my Fraternity Brother, Jim Stepnowski. As I checked in on FaceBook about my flight to Norfolk to begin the relocation of the boat, Jim saw that we would each be landing within a few minutes of each other. He was my ride to the marina. A quick tour and a beer and Jim was on his way home.
As I moved the boat south to Jacksonville, long-time friends Sal and Kathy Cafiero met me for dinner in Beaufort. We are looking forward to seeing them again on the northbound leg as Hearken passes near Hilton Head.
High school friends Bob and Pat Thomasey drove up to JAX from their home in Palm Coast Florida to spend a few hours visiting and we shared a meal at the local Metro Diner.
Here are our first overnight guests. Mindy’s brother Steve Geary and his wife, Jill, came from San Diego to cruise the Saint John’s River with us. We spent 5 days on the water and saw some interesting sights.
